Repurpose & Reuse:

We love to re-purpose and re-use. Do you have an old screen door sans the screen?

Maybe the cat or dog has taken full advantage of the flexibility of the screen and you now have a beautiful wood door with a ripped old screen. Removing the screen and using the wooden frames on top of your existing door gives your once plain door an instant upgrade to fabulous.

Reclaimed Timber

Reclaimed timber from an old fence or last years deck removal is the frame for this rustic beautiful door. We love the corrugated metal panels (also repurposed from our neighbor’s barn). The metal doesn’t require the finishing and painting as its natural beauty lies in the rust and hard cold metal and wood. If you don’t have a neighbor with an old barn, you can purchase these inexpensive panels and let time and the natural elements kiss your door with the rustic look.

Dutch Doors Are Functional & Fun

Dutch doors, also called double-hung doors or half doors are divided in half horizontally so the bottom half can remain shut while the top half opens. Used in early New England as a way to let light in while keeping children close, the style works equally well for your ideal shed.

You can modify your existing shed door and enjoy the best of both worlds having a window and door all in one. The Dutch door is a great way to add natural light and fresh air to the book worm’s nook.

Doors Used for Storage

Who doesn’t need more storage? Use the inside of your shed door for additional storage space. Fastening wire baskets is a quick inxspensive way to add more storage for just about anything. Add a thin wire or tight bungee cord to hold your liquids and spray bottles.

 Shed Door Finishing Touches

This small trowel is the perfect handle to open the top of our Dutch door. Use what you have and add a sweet little detail that will enhance the magic and charm of your perfect shed.

Use a small screwdriver or how about an old water valve. Just about anything can be used in place of the traditional door handle for the top of our Dutch doors.

Bright Doors-Great Finish

Pop of color. Using a bold color is a great way to take your shed door from normal to amazing in one sweep of color. Add even more pop to your entry way with colored pots.

These sweet bi fold doors allow for an open air feel providing natural light and an abundance of fresh air to your shed. When folded up and closed, these glass top bi-fold doors let the light in and keep the cold out. We love the country charm of the bi-fold doors.
